Located in a recently renovated house of the 50’s, In Santa Trinita Rooms & Apartments is a family-run tourist accomodation which is able to meet the needs of people who travel for different reasons, such as work, study or tourism. Cozy and elegant, inside the House you’ll find both vintage and modern and functional furnitures, creating a sophisticated but welcoming atmosphere. In Santa Trinita Rooms & Apartments is situated in the city centre of Prato, a few feet from the well-known Convitto Cicognini and near Palazzo Datini, the Museo del Tessuto (Textile Museum) and the main squares of the city centre, full of small clubs and shops.
The position of our two-level structure, which includes a wide garden, makes it possible to reach our two train stations within few minutes by foot.

Where we are

In Santa Trinita Rooms & Apartments is located in Santa Trinita district, a part of the city centre that is one of the most vibrant of the city with its bars, restaurants and shops and our Biblioteca Lazzerini, the modern public library adjoining the ancient walls.
From the House, heading northwards, you’ll find Piazza San Francesco, Via del Corso, Piazza del Comune with Palazzo Pretorio and its museum and finally Piazza del Duomo, where you can be charmed by Donatello’s Pulpit and Filippo Lippi’s frescoes.
The city centre offers the possibility to visit several tourist attractions and sights, such as the famous Basilica of Santa Maria delle Carceri (1495), the castle of Frederick II -Holy Roman Emperor- (approximately 1200), and also the Museo del Tessuto and great works of contemporary art.
The nearest train station is Porta al Serraglio, one kilometer away from the House, from where you will be able to reach Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station in 20-30 minutes; tourist towns e.g. Pisa, Siena and Bologna can be easily visited leaving from Prato Centrale Station. Travellers can also get to the sea of Versilia (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta) in just over an hour by train.
For winter sports lovers, the nearest destination is the popular Abetone ski area, in the Appennine Mountains.
